Lets make sure you are getting the correct file type for your project.

• JPG files are intended for web use. While these are great for websites, these files are essentially photos and are more difficult to edit and don’t scale to larger sizes very cleanly. They really aren’t intended for printing.

• Vector (eps) files are the files that your printer is going to want. These files are much easier to edit and you could put it on the side of a building and it will stay clean and crisp. Remember, however… vector files require vector software. Which means if you are going to be doing the design work yourself… make sure you have the correct software to open the files. (Your printer will most certainly have the correct software)

Check with your printer or artist if you are unsure which file type you need.

Your printer will know exactly which file type works best with his process. It is always a good idea to check with them before purchasing your files.
